Key Features
EMI maths you can check
Instalments use the standard reducing-balance formula. Each is rounded to the paisa and the last one absorbs the rounding, so the principal parts add up to the loan amount exactly. For example Rs 1,00,000 at 12% for 12 months gives an EMI of Rs 8,884.88.
Payments go where they should
A payment is applied to the oldest unpaid instalment first, spilling into the next ones, and part-payments are tracked. A loan closes automatically when the last paisa is paid.
Cannot be overpaid, even by accident
A payment larger than the balance is refused. This holds when several payments arrive at the same instant: the loan is locked while a payment is applied, and the ledger always matches the instalments.
Overdue at a glance
The Overdue page lists every late instalment with the borrower's phone number, days late and amount due; closed loans never appear.
