A ready-to-deploy PHP and MySQL parcel tracker. Staff book a shipment and get a tracking number; each time the parcel moves they add a scan. Customers enter the number on a public page and see the timeline. Statuses only move forward, and a delivered, returned or cancelled shipment is locked.

This is a tracking and status system, not a full logistics platform. It does not include rate cards or billing, route planning, rider apps, GPS, SMS/WhatsApp notifications, proof-of-delivery photos or label printing.
Key Features
Customers can track without an account, and without seeing private data
The public page shows only the route, the status history and the receiver's first name with an initial ("Asha K."). Phone numbers, the sender and the contents are never shown, and tracking numbers are random, not sequential, so they cannot be guessed by counting.
Statuses cannot jump around
A booked parcel cannot be marked delivered, a delivered one cannot be reopened, and only a booked parcel can be cancelled. In transit can repeat, so each hub scan is recorded.
Safe when two people click at once
Every update carries the version of the shipment the staff member was looking at. If someone else changed it first, or the button was double-clicked, the second update is refused with an explanation instead of creating a duplicate scan.
A complete history
Every status change is kept with its location, note and timestamp, newest first, on both the admin page and the public page.
