Diet & Meal Planner Pro — Overview

A ready-to-deploy PHP and MySQL website and panel for a diet or nutrition practice. Visitors read your blog, see your programmes and pay online through Razorpay (or by UPI and bank transfer with manual confirmation). A paid order becomes a client record and an account; you build their meal plans in the panel and they read them, print them and log their weight in their account. The orders panel tracks every sale with CSV export, coupons and refunds. The planner itself is the full Diet & Meal Planner: 125 foods from the USDA public-domain database, day-by-day plans with calorie and macro totals, templates and printable plans.

This is a practice website and planning tool, not a medical device: it gives no medical advice, does not generate plans automatically and limits the energy estimates to adults. Payments need your own Razorpay account (keys go in Settings); the app does not hold money or issue GST invoices. There is one staff login, no appointment calendar (pair it with our Clinic Appointment Booking), no recurring subscriptions, no video hosting, no chat and no mobile app. Emails go through your server's mail() function or are kept in the panel's email log.

Key Features

Razorpay done properly

Orders are created server to server with your key secret, the browser's payment result is checked against the HMAC signature, and a webhook confirms payments the browser never reported. Each path marks the order paid exactly once; the test suite fires eight confirmations at the same instant and exactly one wins.

Manual payment when you want it

Switch the payment mode to Manual and checkout shows your UPI or bank details; you mark the order paid from the orders panel and the client gets their account email the same way.

From order to plan without re-typing

Checkout asks for the details a plan needs — sex, date of birth, height, goal and diet preference — so the client record is created ready for their first plan, and a returning client's email links to their existing record.

Accounts without password headaches

Clients never register. A paid order emails a 24-hour link to choose a password; staff can send a fresh link from the client or order page, and the forgot-password flow does the same. Client logins are throttled separately from the staff login.

A site you can run yourself

Practice name, logo, colour, contact details, the About page, the checkout note and the plan note are all settings; programmes, posts and images are managed from the panel with no code.

Technical Requirements

PHP 7.4+ (tested on PHP 8.5), MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10+ (tested on MySQL 8.0), and the mysqli extension. Plain PHP, no framework dependency. Every form is CSRF-protected and all database access uses prepared statements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Razorpay account?

Only if you want online payment. Create a Razorpay account, paste the Key ID and Key Secret into Settings and add the webhook address shown there. Without it, use Manual mode and confirm payments yourself.

Will it work with another payment gateway?

Out of the box it supports Razorpay (international cards too, once enabled on your Razorpay account) and manual payment. The payment code is in one include file, so a developer can add another gateway.

Does it send emails?

Yes — order confirmation with the account link, password links from the panel and from forgot-password. They go through PHP's mail() on your hosting; every message is also kept in the panel's email log, and a log-only mode exists for testing.

Can clients book appointments?

Not in this product. Programmes are sold and delivered through the account; for a booking calendar pair it with our Clinic Appointment Booking.

How is this different from the Diet & Meal Planner (₹499)?

The ₹499 edition is the planning panel only. Pro adds the public website, programmes for sale, Razorpay and manual checkout, coupons, orders, client accounts, a blog, enquiries and settings — and includes the whole planner.

Is it suitable for a college project?

Yes — two kinds of user, a payment flow with signature verification and a webhook, 15 related tables and rules enforced at the database level. The download includes a report template and viva questions.

Is the commercial license included?

Yes — every purchase includes a genuine commercial license for your own business or client work.

Is it tested on PHP 8?

Yes — every page was tested end to end on PHP 8.5 with MySQL 8, including bad-input and concurrent-request checks.

Do you offer a refund?
