Key Features

Lockout that does not leak who is registered

After 5 failed attempts in 15 minutes an email is locked out, whether or not that account exists, and the error message is the same either way, so attackers cannot use the login form to find valid emails.

Password reset done properly

Reset links are random 64-character tokens that are stored only as a hash, work once, and expire after 1 hour. The "forgot password" page gives the same answer for real and unknown emails.

Roles you can actually use

Users and admins. Admins can disable, promote, demote or delete users, but the system refuses to remove the last active administrator or let an admin lock themselves out. A disabled user is logged out on their next request.

Secure by default

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored as text), every form carries a CSRF token, all database access uses prepared statements, and the session id is regenerated at login.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it send real emails?

Password-reset emails use PHP mail() by default. If your host has no mail server, set MAIL_MODE to log in config.php and the messages are stored in an Outbox page an admin can read. Set APP_URL in config.php so reset links use your real address.

Can I add my own fields to registration?

Yes. It is plain PHP with one users table, so adding a phone number or company field is a small change in register.php and the schema.

Is it a complete user-management product?

No. It covers sign-up, login, password reset, profile and basic user administration. Email verification, two-factor login and social login are not included.

Is the commercial license included?
