Key Features
Double-booking is made impossible, not just checked
Each occupied slot carries a unique key that the database enforces, and cancelled appointments release it. Even eight simultaneous requests for one slot produce exactly one appointment.
Only real slots can be booked
The slot list is generated from the doctor's start time, end time and appointment length. Off-grid times, times outside working hours, past dates and inactive doctors are rejected.
Sensible statuses
Only a booked appointment can be marked completed, no-show or cancelled. Completed and no-show appointments keep their slot; cancelled ones release it for someone else.
A day view that works for reception
Pick a date and see every appointment with the patient's phone number, with one-click Done, No-show and Cancel buttons.
