- Item register: SKU, name, unit (pcs, kg, litre...), reorder level, optional opening stock
- Stock In / Stock Out entry with a note (supplier, issued-to, reason)
- Stock can NEVER go negative: issuing more than is in stock is refused with a message showing what is actually available
- The stock balance can only change by recording a movement (the item edit screen deliberately has no quantity field), so the balance always equals the sum of the recorded history. Each movement is applied in a database transaction with the item row locked, so two people issuing stock at the same moment cannot oversell it.

Key Features
Stock Can Never Go Negative
Try to issue more than is in stock and the system refuses, telling you how much is actually available. Two people issuing the same item at the same moment can't oversell it either — each movement locks the item and is applied in a single database transaction.
A Balance You Can Trust
The quantity on an item can only change by recording a stock movement — there is deliberately no "edit quantity" box. So the balance always equals the sum of the recorded history, and you can always see why a number is what it is.
Reorder Alerts on the Dashboard
Set a reorder level per item. The dashboard lists everything at or below it, with out-of-stock items highlighted, so you reorder before you run out.
Any Unit, Including Decimals
Track pieces, kilograms, litres, or metres — quantities can be decimals (2.5 kg in, 1.25 kg out).
Movement History
Every stock in and out is logged with a time and a note (supplier, issued-to, reason), filterable per item. Items that have history can't be deleted.
