- PHP hosting with PHP 8.1 or newer, MySQL and https (Hostinger and most cPanel hosting work).
- A phone number that is not in use on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app — a spare SIM is easiest. A number connected to the official API is answered from the agent's inbox, not the phone app.
- A Meta business portfolio and developer account (free).
- An Anthropic account with API credit for the AI.
What it costs to run
- No monthly fee to us.
- Meta: replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message are free. The agent only replies; it never sends paid template messages.
- Anthropic: billed per reply to your own key. You set a monthly rupee cap; the Health page shows your real cost per reply.
Meta and Anthropic set their own prices; check their pricing pages before you start (described as of October 2026).
How it behaves
- Answers only from your own business details, in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
- Never sends a rupee amount that is not in your details; never confirms a booking, payment or refund.

Questions
How long does the setup take?
About 45 minutes. Meta's dashboard is the longest part, and the illustrated guide covers it step by step. If you get stuck, email support helps with installation questions.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business app on the same number?
No. A number connected through your own Meta app is answered from the agent's web inbox (on your computer or phone browser), not from the WhatsApp Business app. Use a spare number, or move your number and answer from the inbox.
Will it make mistakes?
It can misread a question, which is why the rules are strict: it states only facts from your details, a price that is not in them is never sent, and bookings, payments and anything unclear come to you. Test it with "Try it" before going live, and check the inbox.
Is this an official WhatsApp product?
No. It connects to Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) through your own Meta app. Not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Meta or WhatsApp.
